Description
The Foredom On/Off Foot Switch, sometimes called a “dead man switch,” cuts power to the tool immediately when foot pressure is released, providing simple, hands-free on/off control. It allows compatible Foredom motors to run at full speed or shut off instantly without using hand controls.
This foot switch is designed for use with Foredom flex shaft motors and is strongly recommended as a companion to a variable speed dial control for proper operation. The variable speed control plugs into the foot switch, and the foot switch then connects to a standard power outlet.
Compatible with select Foredom motors depending on model, including SR, TX, LX, and PGX series motors, as well as certain discontinued models. Also suitable for scroll saws, drill presses, and other stationary power tools rated up to 1/3 HP and 6 amps maximum.
Includes an 18″ cord with receptacle plug and a 6′ cord with a 3-prong plug. For 230V applications, use the appropriate international variant where specified.
